Ginkgo Biloba

So what do we do know about this wonder herb called Ginkgo Biloba. Libidus
It’s the only survivor of the ancient plant specie called Ginkophyta.
This native plant is found in China but seems to grow anywhere.  This large tree has a very erect tree trunk. As this tree grows older its branches forms a crown. It has grey and cracked bark. The leaves are yellow-green and fan-bent. The female flowers are round-shaped and become yellowish fruit that starts smell foul as it grows old. The male flowers are also yellow that hangs in fat, pendulous catkins.

Lots of research has been done on this plant to pinpoint the medical benefits even though it’s been in used by Chinese for hundreds of years for its medical properties. Certain substance in the leaves have thinning properties that can make blood thinner and thus reducing changes of person having a stroke.(a stroke is caused by blood clotting)

When eating this herb it has a bittersweet taste. This herb is known to encourage circulation and the seed has been used as anti-fungal and anti-bacterial protection.  Most people know Ginkgo biloba as the natural memory herb. The extract has been used by known to produce good result in combating memory diseases like memory loss, Alzheimer’s and disturbed attention disorder.  More than one study has shown to be helpful in treating tinnitus.

Because it’s well known to increase blood flow and particularly microcirculation, it is supportive to increase blood to the genitals and thus combating ED. The herb has a stimulating affects on the endothelium derived soothing factor. With increase blood flow to the genitals there a much better change for men to produce an erection.

In Chinese medicine the seeds is known to work wonders on so-called “Lung” and “Kidney” problems and also helpful in asthmatic disorders. Many Chinese men use the herb to lessen phlegm and wheezing and if they suffer from any urinary  problems The seeds are sometimes roasted and then eaten as a snacks goes well with other foods like stir fry and stews. The seeds can also be crushed for oil that can be used for aromatherapy.  Please note that Ginkgo biloba can increase the affects of blood thinning medicine.
